aa.com "oops" did I accidentally cancel my reservation?
Hi all,
I was trying to look at a future reservation on aa.com in the "view reservations" box... While trying to press "select" I accidentally pressed "cancel" (they are right next to each other).... Now my reservation doesn't show up anywhere........
What did I do and how do I fix it?!......

The Cancel comes with a Yes/No confirmation. Did you click Yes? If so its fully cancelled and would disappear. You could also call AA to ask...

I was never prompted to answer yes/no.... It just disappeared and red letters saying "your reservation cannot be displayed" or something like that. I look up the record locator and it I can find it... but its not in "my trips" or anything.

I called and they said its all good.... Agent I talked to didn't know why its not showing up in "my trips".... Maybe I just deleted it from the "my trips"/"My reservations"?

Try adding it back using the PNR.

I've had reservations disappear from my trips a few times in the last year. I could still see them in the app, I could look them up, but they wouldn't stay in My Trips. Last time it eventually reappeared on its own after a few weeks. It's an aa.com glitch.

I've done this a couple of times... all the times I noticed it right away and called. The AAgents never asked any questions once I said that I had cancelled by mistake, they just went put me right back in.

I can search the PNR and my ticket shows and clearly says "ticketed" but it still doesn't show up in the "my reservations" and I can't see anyplace to re-add it... Strange...
(BTW-- thanks to the Mod who changed the titled of the thread! The new one is much better!)

So far this year, I have had 2 reservations disappear from my list on aa.com. It only happens when I view it online. When I exit the reservation, it stays that an error occurred and has been removed from my list. When I search for it, it is there, no problems. Must be some weird aa.com glitch

I had this happen last week. I cleared my cookies, signed back in, and it showed up. Not sure if this was the fix, but it worked for me.

Nothing I try makes it show back up in "My reservations" or "my trips." However, when I search using the Record locator it shows up... Certainly if I had cancelled the reservation the record locator wouldn't show anything?
